Technical Features
OpenThinker-32B has 32.8 billion parameters and can handle a context length of 16,000 tokens, enabling it to manage complex tasks that require extensive context. It was trained over three epochs using the LLaMa-Factory framework with a learning rate of 1e-5 and a cosine learning rate scheduler. The training took place on AWS SageMaker across four nodes, each with eight H100 GPUs, over about 90 hours. This setup boosts the model’s efficiency in handling intricate reasoning tasks.
Performance Highlights
Performance tests show that OpenThinker-32B outperforms other open-data reasoning models on various benchmarks. It achieved an accuracy of 90.6 on the MATH500 benchmark and 61.6 on the GPQA-Diamond benchmark, demonstrating its strong problem-solving skills across diverse reasoning challenges.
